Johnny (and Scooby), We Hardly Knew Ye!

The Johnny Bravo / Scooby-Doo team –up cartoon that I embedded on September 07, 2009, little more than three weeks ago, has been removed from You Tube.

Just scroll two posts down, click on it, and you’ll get the following message:

This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Cartoon Network”.

Okay, as I said in greater detail HERE, fair enough!

But, to Time Warner and ALL major studios and copyright holders, if you’re going to shut this sort of access down (…and it is certainly your right to do so), please release the item in question on DVD for all of us to enjoy!

…I think THAT’S “fair” too!

Amen, Joe. We all know that one runs a risk of a link "disappearing" if it is copyrighted material, whether or not the poster is aware of its status. That happened to something that I haven't posted yet, as I suspected it might. All I can say is "oh well". But you are definitely also correct that studios should be recognizing that they have the ability to respond to markets without being a slave to volume necessarily in this day and age.

Chuck,

Right on! Could you send Disney DVD a message to that effect? :-)

And, while you’re at it, please ask Warners about ANIMANIACS Volume Four – and (especially) the too long missing and presumed dead Seasons 2-4 of THE HUCKLEBERRY HOUND SHOW!

…And, that wonderful First Season of JOHNNY BRAVO, from which the “removed” Scooby-episode comes!
