On Christmas Eve, we asked: What is wrong with the cover of Gladstone’s DONALD DUCK ADVENTURES # 30?
The answer is that, although the names of Carl Barks, Ron Fernandez, and Pat Block are ON THE COVER, the name of WALT DISNEY (of all things) has been left off!

It's right there, printed in black. But you have to be a TRUE comics connoisseur to see it, of course, just like the King's clothes.

When I picked up this comic brand new, I *thought* something was amiss, but it took a few moments (perhaps more) for me to realize exactly what it was.
I think the only other Disney comics that did not have "Walt Disney" on the cover were the Roger Rabbit comic books. Never - not even a "Disney's" stamp, either. I wonder if people think of Roger as a Disney character or a Steven Spielberg character...the one we know isn't quite Gary K. Wolf's Roger, either! :)
I can understand why Roger Rabbit might have been an exception but, as you point out, the “Walt Disney” – or “Disney’s” (for properties created after his lifetime) logos are emblazoned on all the comics (as they should be) and the empty black space just makes it look so odd.
